On reflection I think you may be right.

I haven't used an ATM for a month and it must be a couple of weeks since I used cash.
Even small stuff such as a newspaper I buy using an NFC debit card and even parking charges can be paid by cellphone.

Don;t know about the local working girls (yet!) but I'm sure it will happen.
