The exciting tale of the wandering face masks

So, back at the end of March, or so, when the :poop: started hitting the fan, I ordered a 50 pack of paper face masks from Amazon. Did not realize until they came through as shipped, that they were coming from China. estimated due date Whenever". Well, whenever came and went, and dozens of customers were complaining to Amazon about no product, and no contact from seller. Some end of May, Amazon put through order cancellations and refunded $$ to me, and others I assume. Amazon emailed that the vendor seemed to have dropped off the face of the Amazon world.

So, I got my money back, ordered more masks from a US vendor through Amazon, got them in about 8 days. Fast forward to today, June 17th. In my mailbox a package from GASP...China. With the lost masks. So, I guess I got them for free, I can live with that.

BTW, I checked my order history with Amazon, and the order is not even listed any more

This seems like a modern short story, with a plot and theme, that is relevant to modern times.

Yes that, and in addition perhaps,
lots of people who cannot , or choose not, to go into an eye doc or optician office, etc,
to get a new script, for glasses, recently.

Plus, those reading glasses must come all the way from....someplace that is not making or sending things, for the past months.... :rolleyes:

But none of that helps you to read, @PopsnTuff
