Spoon rests are the unsung heroes of the kitchen, quietly catching drips, taking all the heat, and asking nothing in return.

I think it’s time we give spoon rests the respect they deserve. Let’s see your spoon rests, folks.
Fancy ones you bring out when company’s coming, workhorses, veterans with sauce scars and burn marks ... all are welcome.
Some are neat, some chaotic, some haven’t been washed since 2008 (no judgment, that’s just seasoning).

I’ve been conducting a highly scientific study on the correlation between personality type and spoon rest material.
Ceramic people: patient but chip-prone.
Stainless steel people: cold but reliable.
Silicone people: bendy and mysterious.
So let’s get to know each other better. Post your spoon rest(s) !!! Enlightenment optional.

My spoon rest used to belong to Amy Droste.
I have a couple of lidded mugs that used to belong to her too !!!

CAUTION VIEWER DISCRETION: Some images may hypnotize you ... You are getting very sleepy ...
