I do remember that wood tatse very well...maybe because we licked it to death....

I also remember pushing too hard and the spoon splitting in half.

Yes, I do remember those. When I was in high school, I worked a few hours a week at an ice cream parlor, and we had some of those, but many things from the past have slipped from my mind, never to be remembered again unless I see a post like this that reminds me.

Yes, this is what the Lake Emily concession stand sold. But if we didn’t have enough money, jawbreakers were an option.
