Thanks for posting this! We have HGTV here in the states and there is a show called Ugliest House in America. The host goes to 5 regions in the US and chooses 3 homes that are the "ugliest". At the end of the show, there is 1 home chosen that receives a $150k makeover. Some of the decisions the owners have made are crazy, but many are just gaudy. It is eye-opening.

Not sure whether or not you can view this, Hols, but if so it will give you an idea.
