My Mom overheard the neighbors next door during an argument one night when the husband asked his wife why she did it. The "why" was sleeping with the neighbor on the other street. She replied don't you think I don't pay for it when I look at "kids name" every time I look at him. The kid in question didn't look like his Mom, her husband or the other siblings. Mom said he was the image of that other man.
I learned of this many, many years later after another incident happened at the neighbors. Mom told me the story to fill me in & I just about fell down. I don't remember the other guy cause that family had moved out shortly after the incident happened & I a toddler at the time.
I often wondered if that kid or the other members of the family ever knew the truth because no one ever talked about it.
