I mourn, truly, to live in a society where some are bringing us backwards and it is being allowed and welcomed as a possibility.

This I have taken from another thread, Pepper, the following,
to me, is backwards.

The Dutch Government want to close all livestock farms, to cut
back carbon emissions, they propose to feed the people insects.

The directive I believe comes from the EU., the last election a few
days ago in Holland saw the Farming Party the biggest winner, so
this may not happen, though I think that some farms have already
been "Compulsory Purchased".

Mike.

It's not about carbon emissions, but in fact the WEF and the EU have much more heinous plans. They plan to build a megacity with 45 million inhabitants, called 'Tristate City', on the ground of parts of the Netherlands, Belgium and Northwestern Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia). The farmers interfere with their criminal plans and are forced to sell their land.

I remain optimistic that the timing is not right for the wef to succeed in their plans for us. We're not indoctrinated yet. There is too much pushback.

Might as well go down the ole rabbit hole!!

Perhaps this is the real reason the Dutch are refusing to drill into those massive Groningen natural gas fields. 🤪😜

They can also just eat plants. I haven't eaten meat in 32 years this summer and believe me, I do not look like I miss a calorie.
Absolutely true. I was vegetarian all through college and enjoy lots of raw vegan meals still. But NO ONE is forcing it on me or anyone else. That's the thing. I don't believe our elected officials and non elected officials in the WEF should be telling us what we may and may not eat.

If you have a limited growing season and limited acreage, raising cattle is the worst, most inefficient use of resources to feed a nation. Crops are the best efficient ways of feeding populations. I have no idea about proposed mega cities, etc. or what the EU has instore. I suspect the "let them eat insects" line is just PR from the "anti" side.

Perhaps the "anti" side knows that governments and the EU f*****p just about everything they touch.

It's not completely a PR line. In Italy, Italians have voted against the introduction/use of insect based flour. At least they were allowed to vote on the subject. It does matter what the citizens of a nation want. This is really the point of forcing people to eat something that may disgust them. It will be a floodgate. If people don't fight this hard now, they might find themselves with no options or control in the future.

For those of us, who have time enough to watch it and don't mind that with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson a conservative voice is discussing the problems of the Dutch farmers, I'd recommend the following video:

If you'd like to shorten it, after the introduction of his guests, Michael Yon and Eva Vlaardingerbroek, you could start at minute 43:00.
