The new anti-viral pill

Just wondering if it is going to be one pill or several when Pfizer comes out with this medicine to treat Covid and get rid of it forever - and I believe Merck also is coming out with one - anyway, just wondering if anyone knows anything about it? I decided not to get the booster - did get flu shot and did get 2 shots of the Moderna - hoping that should help but knowing this new treatment is coming is a good thing. Do you agree?
 

I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with several other anti-virus drugs. With the fear generated, it should be a gold mine.
