The Prostate - Owner's manual

Ah, the prostate. Not one of my favorite subjects. Has anyone had the microwave therapy done to them. I had It Feb. and still not sure if the discomfort was worth it. My doctor said if it doesn't take the first time, he will redo the procedure. Doc, not in my lifetime.

Never heard of microwave therapy, how do they do that if you don't mind sharing. My hubby so far hasn't had any prostate issues, but for years I've been giving him a Saw Palmetto (sometimes a complex with Pygeum, etc.), and the next day I'll give him a BetaSitosterol supplement, maybe those are helping him to avoid problems, hope so anyway.

They say that most men if they live long enough will experience some prostate cancer, but they won't die from it.

Morning SeaBreeze.....Don't mind sharing at all. Fist of all, a man needs a large prostrate and is prone to prostititus infections.but rather than try to explain it, google TUMT and it will explain the whole procedure. Even though thay give us a relaxant before hand, it is very unpleasant to go through. It has been over 3 months since I had it done and I have noticed a little change, but not like I expected. Doc says sometimes it needs to be redone to really work. They will have to handcuff and drag my a-- to the table next time. :)

Recall reading about prostrate health and went away with the idea of "use it or lose it" . . . But, for sure, I ain't stickin' my prostrate in nobody's microwave...!

Ouch Pappy, I don't blame you for not wanting to go back. I would rather try natural supplements like Krill Oil, or Pumpkin Seed Oil...less painful, and may help in large doses.
