The Rose Bush

A year ago today, I took a photo of a rose bush that had started to grow in my backyard. Then it was a twig with 3 blossoms on it. Look at it today. It really needs support, but I'm not sure how to do it. It's growing right up against my neighbor's fence.

Very pretty!

A few wooden stakes will do just fine, but if you want the bush to really show it's true colours, attach some trellis to the fence to help support the plant.

My choice would be this!

And then there's the fan-style trellis.

The options are endless!

And those trellis options pictured look great, too!

I was thinking that perhaps a circular type of trellis or support, that would stand around it, might look nice, and would be smaller and easier to handle.

Below is a rose bush we've taken with us on 3 different moves. The picture was taken, BTW, with the drone when I was practicing trying to fly it while using the camera.

And I did spray for bugs.

My neighbor may not appreciate my putting anything up against his fence. I tried to take cuttings last year to try and start another plant in a different location, but they never rooted and frizzled up.
