When I was 19 I bought a super 8 movie camera. I used to enjoy making stop motion stuff.
My favorite was filming my bed making itself as you might see on the TV show, Bewitched.

Stop Motion using film was labor intensive, so I am impressed, Old Feller.
There are a few free websites which are great to use, like imgflip.com and ezgif.com. Basically, images are loaded up in some sort of desired sequence, then the site creates a GIF.
With your knowledge, experience, and talent, learning to do so would be a cakewalk for you!
