This afternoon I went to see'The Shape of Water". The story is set in the early 60's at a research facility. One of the cleaning ladies,Eliza who is mute, can read lips, begins to form a friendship with the half man/half creature that is being held captive there.
The main reason why I went because of 2 actors in the cast,who I really like,Octavia Spencer who plays Eliza's best friend,Zelda and wonderful character actor,Richard Jenkins plays Eliza's next door neighbor.Giles.They were good in the limited time they were on screen.
I like fantasy,sci-fi movies but was disappointed with this,it dragged in some parts. In my opinion the movie didn't deserve the 13 Oscar nominations it received. Sue
