I loved the movie, and have seen it so many times I even know some of the Russian Dialogue.
I had been interested in subs since I was a teenager. I was thrilled some years earlier when I got to sail on two Fleet Ballistic Missile subs as part of a my job.
 
I have a fascination with the present Ohio class subs. The Trident II D5 launches are very sobering to say the least. Heard the Ohios are going to be replaced by the Virginia class subs.
 
The Montana ranch would probably be up to maybe the U.S. Marshalls Service in conjuction with the CIA since they are experts at making people become ghost. The two plump wives? IDK.
 
Really enjoyed the movie, but glad I never served on a sub. I have toured them while on display, like in Hawaii and that was good enough for me.
