The strangest phone call

Checked my voice mail for the first time in over a week and there was a message from someone I had not heard from in six years plus. It took me a few minutes to figure out who it even was. The message was along the lines of "this is ****" and her husband had come home from work sick, collapsed, ambulance loaded him and she was on her way to the hospital, all with a request for prayer, from me and my Mom (who has been gone for four years). She had never met my mother.

We were neighbors, never what I would call friends. In fact, I would avoid her as much as possible as she is the ultimate Drama Queen. Why call me? I am not even sure it was who I think it was. If it is her, there was a time when I drove her to the hospital to see her husband and another time when she came running out into the street shouting her husband was having a heart attack and another neighbor and I rushed over there to help. He was okay.

It's just so strange.

I think the likelihood is she sent a standard message to everyone in her contact list
 
She may have dementia and is reliving the past. You are in her contacts list.

Or, being super cautious, her voice may have been cloned and someone is using her contacts list.

I believe it’s the first. And I’d ignore both.

That may be true. IDK. She is definitely socially inept. Within the first few minutes of meeting her, she asked me my stance on abortion. I was surprised and it felt like she was looking for an argument. It always felt that way, in every conversation thereafter. The one thing we had in common was dogs. Anyway, we live 1200 miles apart, in different states, which works well for me.
