Seems a good 10 commandments to me.. they've always been my mantra too..

About a decade ago, my oldest granddaughter gave me a tin poster with a very similar but way longer "If you" list.

I hung it in my kitchen because I love her, and it was a gift from her, and she likely gave it a lot of thought before buying it...with her allowance.

But I had to ask myself "Am I really that guy?" I mean, this was a long list! Am I that OCD? Am I the Nazi SS of mess? In her eyes, I guess I was ....WAS.

I might print this & put it up at work. It fascinates me that when some people are at work they seem to have lower standards than if they were at home.

 Or do they?

How ' bout..'take a penny..give a penny'.

Some businesses..had a 'penny dish'..when you bought something that ended with a cent or two over the dollar..
You could take.
Or..leave when you were getting a few cents back.

Have 'done both'! 😊

I live in a communal set-up and if there was a notice-board, I would pin up something like that. Some of the other residents behave as though they are used to servants cleaning up after them.

You missed out the most essential one. "Put the seat lid down!" Usually accompanied by a couple of unprintable profanities!

Excellent. And we have another in this household. Don't eat the last of something you did not buy (unless the purchaser says it's okay).
We always heard the term: "You break it..you bought it."
