The terrorist down the street in my old neighborhood!

He probably wasn't born when I lived there but it was a shock to see this young man arrested for plotting with two others to try and behead a policeman. It is shocking to see that young people are being radicalized from middle class homes. You have to wonder about the motivation for them to go to this extreme...

And I have to wonder why people are so worried about their phone calls to the pizza parlor being monitored by the NHS and CIA.. when people like this need to be watched.. Unfortunately Americans want their cake and to eat it too.. they want complete protection of their privacy... YET they want every Terrorist and potential Terrorist stopped before they can do harm to us.. Sorry... it's a different world.. and the enemy is different... and operates differently. Sad to say.. we are going to have to give up some of our privacy if we want a better chance of being kept safe.

I agree, too. I doubt my conversations with my veterinarian would be of much interest to them either.

To be fair... some of the REALLY hard Left/Libertarian types get all "wee wee" over someone knowing they called their mother on mothers day. Some even put a statue of Edward Snowden up in Central Park. They would be the first to blame NHS if a bomb went off as they were enjoying their latte at Starbucks.
