Do you remember this?

Jackson resigned from the Texas Rangers in 1993 when then Gov. Ann Richards promoted several women into the ranks of the Texas Rangers. He lived in Alpine, Texas, where he was the owner and operator of a private investigations firm.[5] His wife, Shirley Conder Jackson, died on February 11, 2012, after a year-and-a-half-long illness. He married Jewely Van Valin March 11, 2014. They were married until his death. He had two sons with Shirley, Don Joaquin Jackson and Lance Sterling Jackson, and two grandsons, Adam Michael and Tyler Joaquin. Before Joaquin married Shirley Conder, he had a son Michael W. Kirkpatrick. Michael lived his childhood with his mother and step-father. His son Don Joaquin is currently in prison for murder, this being the second time another person died in the presence of Don Joaquin. When he was a child while living in Uvalde, TX another child through highly suspicious circumstances and in the company of Don Joaquin killed himself by allegedly playing Russian Roulette in the Jackson home with the famous ranger’s own personal handgun.

Joaquin Jackson and family lived in my hometown of Uvalde, Texas. I remember being amazed at how tall he was.

Love thy neighbor........watch thy neighbor too.

Greatest lookin' law officers in any & all countries even better than the Canadian Royal Mounted Police. Why are they called "royal"? They don't answer to the queen.

Once, way back in 1963, when I was 17 years old, I was hitch-hiking across Texas, and I was harassed by 2 Texas Rangers. I had a pack of cigarettes in my shirt pocket and one of those rangers took out each cigarette and shredded it. He said he was looking for marijuana. Just plain meanness.

LOL why would you say that? I mean, you've provided all the information a person could possibly want to know about the Texas Rangers, but was afraid to ask for. :ROFLMAO: Not sure how that all relates to "Earth Science & Environment" section, but I would hardly see it as a TOS violation.
