As baby boomers we had something to believe in, ourselves and how we were going to change the world in which we lived in. There is very little going on as far as I can tell in today's youth. Racial violence and tension remains high, I don't understand why people hate each other to the degree of causing physical/mental harm and death to a living being.
Then there is the have's and have not's social economical structor where one half struggles to get by on pennies a day while the super wealthy have their own problems to deal with. I believe where ever I am in life is exactly where I am supposed to be and wishing differently is merely the beginning stage of doing differently to promote change.
In the 50's, 60's & 70's we had the Civil Rights Movement, Anti-War movement, we had the music, experimentation of drugs, Women's Movement, Sexual Revolution and government opposition. All we need to is put all of these things into place and turn the world over to the youth under the provision of change.
Us old folks walk away.
