There is just nowhere to go at 3:30 AM

Problem solved, I have cake!!
:giggle: I was just about to type that I'm always awake at 3:30... and if I'd live closer, you could come over and we could bake brownies like we would have done as teens. But then I saw you solved the issue. Cake cures everything! 🍰 I really hope that the rest of the day is better for you, @Blessed . 🤗

This called to mind a memory of my freshman year of college. Late at night, in the dorms, this student would sit in the hall at a small table and sell warm yummy grilled cheese sandwiches she made herself. If memory serves me right some had pickles inside of them if you wanted.

Quite the young entrepreneur. She's probably a billionaire today. It was great for those students "burning the midnight oil" studying for tests!

I worked 30+ years on third shift patrolling the highways. At 3:30 in the morning, I could or would stop at a convenience store for coffee or to shoot the breeze with the cashier. Sometimes, there would be an all night drugstore or food store where I would stop and just go in and walk around to make my presence known. The clerks always enjoyed seeing me. I think it made them feel safe.

Still wide awake, I could use a drink but everything is closed. If you have a bottle of of something, take a shot for me and pray tomorrow is better. Thank you for your kind attention!
Oh I could have kept you company.
Blueberry muffins do quite a good job for me and also Idris Elba in an episode rerun of Luther.
I think he is dreamy so was not long before I was dozing off.
I am off back to bed now for hopefully some catchup sleepsleeping.gif

Like Gary O, by 3:30 I am up to go to the bathroom. Sometimes earlier. I decided to put those toilet colored lights on my toilet to make getting up that early and it reminds me of my Disco days. I can do a little dance while standing there.
Great! I thought I was the only oddball to have a multi-colored night light in my toilet. Every gentleman should have one! I'm not sure if ladies would feel the same. TMI? 51NpvF5qZuL._AC_SX425_PIbundle-2,TopRight,0,0_SH20_.jpg

I was an occasional social drinker and I even had a period where I'd go to the bar and sip beers for hours several nights a week. But maybe I was lucky because I never "needed" it.

In the past 5 years I've had 2 drinks and can remember both. I just never understood the movie trope of "I need a drink" I guess. Coffee? Sure. Booze? Why?
