They said it was going to snow

I looked out awhile ago and there it was. I would be embarrassed to even speak of such a small amount, barely covered the cars and none in the parking lot. But if FL can get it, so can we.

For those of us who live alone, I can't imagine being snowed in and confined. I know people live under those conditions and don't know how they do it. It's all in what you get used to.

All depends upon where you choose (or have) to live. I made my choice years ago and glad I did. No big problems

with Mother Nature...........Well, except a few little earthquakes....but no damage.....so far.

Well, damn! I just looked out and we've had a lot more than when I posted earlier, maybe a couple inches. But it may as well be 2 ft, as only the northerners (and we've got tons of 'em) know how to drive in it. We sure don't!

Katy, around here it was just a day off kids and most businesses.

I live in Charlotte, NC. If you don't mind my asking, what state do you live in? You obviously got it before we did, as it didn't start here 'til late this afternoon and it's coming down slowly. We have no removal equipment since it's such a rare occurrence, but it never stays longer than the next day.

I should have known that it was such a weird storm and that if it would snow in FL, that we could easily get it. No problem. I would be all stressed if I were still working 9-5 at the law office, but since that's not the case I don't worry at all about being at the ofs by 9 for the part-time job I have. I could almost walk there if need be/or they can pick me up. I don't have to be there 'til noon and not one bit concerned, thank goodness!
