Thieves Steal £250,000 Worth of Fuel from the Royal Navy!

Oh dear, who will get the blame for this I wonder, tanker trucks
stole the fuel over a two-week period, from a "High Security Base",
in Plymouth.

If they used genuine registered vehicles, then I reckon that they
will be caught on several cameras, covering the exit gates, the plate
numbers will be recoded, on film.

Oh well, if the govt hadn't priced the average joe out of fuel .. this probably wouldn't have happened.. so I have little sympathy for a ship that's in refit losing that fuel for their generators tbh

Exactly what I thought hollydolly, they created the market.

Yes OneEyedDiva, I wondered about that, they will get a
slap on the wrist and told to better in future, no trial, or
punishment, I fear.

My Dad was a staff sergeant at Fort Dix, NJ, during WWII. Military is notorious for black market deals. First thing I would suspect is an inside job, some soldier trying to make some money on the side...
