Thirteen years January 12th with my current desktop

What would be a reasonable price for the tech to transfer my files, come to my house and set up a new system, and give me a brief tutorial on Windows 11? I sent him an email asking, but wanted to get an idea before he replies.

I have Windows 11. I had Windows 7 years ago. I liked it a lot, just like I liked Windows XP. But like with Windows XP, there comes a time that you have to move on. That's why I left Windows 7. and got a newer computer. I never liked Windows 8 or 8.1.

Agreed, I didn't like Windows 8 at all. Now I am running windows 10 on one laptop and windows 11 on another......and a Chromebook I hardly ever touch.

I don't know where you heard that. It's totally untrue. I've had Windows 11 for several years, and never had that problem. Also, it's not a lot different at all. Especially compared to Windows 10. Maybe some silly person tried to install Windows 11 on an older computer, and had problems.
