day,,,,,,it started raining early this morn and has continued to rain all day, even
some thunder just now....and really did need this rain to break the local drought.....it is 47 deg out currently....

We're about 150 miles SE of Liberty, and the rain started here about 7PM. It's a slow steady rain that should last most of the night. It looks like the severe storms will occur mostly East of here. Earlier today, there were reports of tornadoes in Texas and Arkansas, and there may be more as this front moves east. The biggest change will be the temperature....we've hit 80 the last couple of days, but may not go above the mid 50's tomorrow.

Sun was shining merrily this morning and then BAM! the heavens opened. It rained like Niagara Falls for about two minutes and then BAM! it was over and the sun was shining again.

Here in Florida, it can be raining across the street and dry on our side.
