This July 4th, COVID is still killing hundreds of Americans each day

Various flu viruses are around every year, and elderly people, very young children, and people with compromised immune systems die ever month of the year. I have read nothing validating that current monthly death rates from Flu, including Covid, currently is higher than our normal losses during the month. I have seen a few headlines trying to hype covid deaths, but they are careful not to include in real data to verify it is a higher number than normal for flu type viruses. Don't believe what you read and hear without independent research....
 
There always been viruses around that were hard on our young, elderly and sick. We have just added another to the list. I still think Covid is still our major callenge but we need to make sure those vunerable are vaccinated against the flu, the shingles, pneumonia and in other ways we can try to help protect them. I even make sure I take a tetanus when called for.
