Bowl and Basket Lemon Creme oatmeal was a limited edition oatmeal that came in individual serving packets. B & B is a Shoprite brand. I tried it out of curiosity and loved it. I used to buy lemon pies and it occurred to me that I could enjoy the same lemony taste with a lot less sugar if I ate the oatmeal instead. It smells so good too. I add whipped cream to it and voila....dessert! I went back and got a few more boxes before they sold out.
I was telling my Honorary Daughter about it and that my supermarket no longer has it, She said Walmart had something similar. First Walmart I went to didn't have it. The Walmart in another location only had two on the shelf, so I got one for her and one for me...not knowing if I'd like it as well as the B & B brand. She took her box (of 8) to work, and loved it. Her co-workers heard her enjoying the oatmeal, got curious and she wound up sharing two packets. They love it too. I haven't tried the Walmart brand yet, but based on the feed back by HD, I assume it's just as good.
