This or that question.

Mostly online. the less I have to be in a crowed store somewhere with people coughing and sneezing who knows what into the air, the better I feel. Plus, living in the sticks, a trip to the store is a long drawn out affair and as one ages, time becomes a lot more important. As a bonus, I realized that my online orders are taxed at a flat 4% rate, where a trip to the town the same items are taxed at 10%. Then, I factor in gas, wear and tear on the auto, and less exposure to the possibility of an auto accident, and to me.... it's a win win situation. :)

I like both.

I tend to make my initial purchase of an item in a brick and mortar store then make follow-up purchases of the same items online.

Both....but much as I hate grocery shopping, I prefer to go to the supermarket for food than order online ...and I almost always buy clothing and shoes in a Store rather than online!!

WE buy a lot of stuff online that would take a lot of footprint to find in stores... and also larger goods that are easier to have delivered than fit in the car!!

It's about half and half for me. If It's clothes or shoes I'll more often buy in person, with the exception of certain brands or styles that I'm familiar with and know how they fit.

Depends on the mood I'm in.Argos are delivering printer ink tomorrow and Ocado are delivering a shop on Friday. Also got an Amazon delivery tomorrow. Its either easier online or I am getting lazy!

Groceries in the store.
Most other things, online, but sometimes I like to browse.
I like to look around at things in the dollar store (they're not online) because they have a lot of things for a cheap price (dish towels, cleaning supplies, some snacks, etc.)

You at least walk when you go to the store versus not moving a muscle being on line. Better for you to get off your butt and walk. In fact, walk in the store just to walk then do your shopping. Walmart is good for this as it is bigger and roomier than grocery stores.

Yes, Walmart does require lots of walking. I don't go there often enough to know the layout, and I don't like to go back & forth looking for things.

I kinda miss the ole days when walking around in the mall was considered a fun outing.

I mostly shop online for stuff I can't get here which is almost everything (that I look for). That's how it is when living on a desert island. Pineapple I can get anytime. But even then there are some businesses on the mainland that won't ship to Hawaii. I guess they don't want to fill out the Customs Form.

When I go shopping at the huge Ala Moana Center I do like walking from one end to the other several times. It's good exercise and I do like shopping in person for hours and then meeting a friend for lunch. We have only one major book store left here (Barnes and Noble) and I do like to purchase books there to hopefully keep them in business.

I don't do any online shopping except on Amazon where I usually just buy books or a CD
I prefer being right in the store so I can see what I'm looking for,a good way to get some exercise by walking as well
