John, if there are, they are well hidden. I haven't been able to spot any more. Now I have to set up a family lottery to see who gets the pomegranate. That is unless the squirrels get to it first.
Last year the squirrels chewed on a lot of them. This one, they haven't bothered with so far. We have lots of bees. There are always a few drinking from the bird bath. But, there were just not many blossoms this year to pollinate.
It gets me how the squirrels can run around in this tree with no problem. It has wicked spines.
My Meyer Lemon tree had 1 and a squirrel on the fence knocked it off with me watching from my wheelchair! If it does not do better, it is going bye bye!
I have a Meyer Lemon too, but the squirrels don't seem to bother with it. It has a normal crop. My neighbor has a regular lemon tree and got almost nothing this year.
My fig tree was loaded with figs that never ripened. Not a single fig. Our pear tree had little fruit and they didn't mature completely either.
Not sure why.
