A group of 170 thrill-seeking Americans have travelled to East Anglia to try out the region's biggest rollercoasters.
The American Coast Enthusiasts have been checking out the best rides this side of the Atlantic and today it was Southend's chance to shine.
During their 11 day tour they'll visit four theme parks in the Anglia region.
Joy-land Amusement Park in Great Yarmouth, Great Yarmouth Pleasure beach, Pleasure wood Hills in Lowestoft and Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea.

I didn't like the roller coaster as a teenager so I certainly couldn't go on one now with them being bigger and faster.:D

Not for me either, Bee!! I've never had the desire to go on one. My favourite fairground ride was the waltzer.... especially if there was a handsome hunk spinning the car around.

For me, one and done! Too scary.

Me, too ... had never been on one until my son and his wife got me in a line for "something" ... rollercoaster. First rollercoaster ride at age 56 ... first and last! Though I must admit it was kinda' fun. :eek:nthego:
