As the title says. They get their Fancy Feast at 230pm. They want it now!!!

Anyone else have the same experience with non-free fed pets with the time change? I've been trying to feed them a bit earlier, easing back into the clock time but it's not working well today. :D

Oh yeah big time.. Simmy (our black lab) is right now giving me the big stare wanting her morning grits. It's just about an hour before her usual breakfast time but her tummy is still on daylight savings time. I don't think I can hold out much longer, my resolve is weakening, tell mom I lov... 🐶

Oh yes, it's been going on since Sunday. Me trying to get the dachshund to wait until 4:30 while she thinks it's time at 3:30. I try to inch it up by ten minutes each day, but she still starts in at the old time. I'm not well adjusted myself either, not sleeping well, hungry at odd times.

I try to tell myself I'm the boss, but who am I kidding?

My cat free feeds so its not really an issue. I put her wet food down at 7 and 4 and just fill up her bowl with dry food. My dog I feed him twice a day is bugging me and hour earlier. The clock doesn't change for them it seems.

Not an issue for me. My two cats get their dry food in the morning and they typically get their wet food at 3pm. However, if I'm home earlier our little piggy Bugsy just expects it and cries until I feed him, Daylight Savings Time or not. However, if I'm not home he can't expect it. I still try to stay out of the house going to the gym or doing various errands until 3pm so they adapt to the new schedule.

Our dogs are probably more messed up by my getting up "off schedule", due to my illness, rather than the time change. Rusty fussed around 3:30am night before last, but he did have to potty
LOL That struck me so funny, now I'm wondering what euphemisms the rest of you use?

We got our words from, "Three Men and a Baby." We say she "had to doodle" or we'll tell her to "go deedle" for number one. I hope the neighbors haven't heard us..

I'm the mama lioness as I have already said. Had to get tough with Louie 🐈after midnight. I know he wanted me to open a can. He just kept aggressively licking me, jumping on me, crying in his 'I want a can' voice. Wouldn't let me rest or sleep. Seriously, no way will I allow this behavior. I didn't, and he got the message. We'll see tonight if it sticks. I think it did.

I don't blame your pets! I am used to walking around 6 or7 but now its dark so I haven't been doing it.
Its not natural!

I leave dry food and water for my cats 24/7.
You're very fortunate. Our Bugsy will eat Andy's food if left to his own devices. When I feed them their wet food in the afternoon he gobbles up his and then heads to Andy's bowl. I have to run interference and keep him at bay until Andy finishes. He will eat anything that isn't locked away and even opened a drawer with a bag of treats one night and tore open the bag as well. The treats were all over the floor the next morning.

He is slightly overweight so we need to monitor his food consumption. I could never just leave dry food for the two of them. Bugsy would eat all of it.

They can be RELENTLESS!!! I sympathize. And it's hard, but if you give in, they will keep it up. I call these two "food brats."
