Actually I've often wondered what might have happened if she'd survived along with Jimi Hendrix and had kids together.

I assume the last picture is aged to the present, which looks fairly decent for someone who would now be 83.

I liked the movie, "The Rose" (Bette Midler) but did not find it to be a good representation of Joplin's life.

Hehe Yeah, I wouldn't suggest that. But one of the very old singers or actors who are still alive might be interesting if a pic in their 20s could be found.
