Tiny disabled puppy found in dumpster gets new home in time for Christmas.

After being discovered abandoned, the tiny six-week-old, which is deaf and half-blind, was rushed to a veterinarian.
Dennis was so scared upon arrival, he couldn’t even cope with a bath, so the team used damp towels to clean him up, as he was “really, really worried by the water”.
His eyes couldn’t focus on you very well, and he couldn’t really hear what you were saying, or work out where he was.



He would sort of go to the corner of the room or try to nestle into you in order to feel safe.
For those first couple of days, he was so shut down and so nervous, and obviously, poor Dennis didn’t really have great eyesight and couldn’t hear.
He was placed into foster care before finding a loving home in time for his first Christmas with new owners.

got a new dog too who some didn't want - known as a pig dog in oz - I love him to pieces and this will be our first Xmas together - s ome nice succulent bones for him as well as his usual

Bless him... he looks exactly like little Pablo a wire haired terrier who my daughter rescued.... so tiny he was no taller than your hand..... he'd been dumped alone to starve in the mountains ..

... she used to drive down the mountain from her home with a big bag of dog food in her truck, because she couldn't rescue all the dogs that had been abandoned, but if she saw any particularly vunerable ones or poorly ones she would take them to the vet and have them check them over and get meds for them.. and then she'd take them home, and nurse back to health, and find homes for them.

Little pablo was one of 5 rescue dogs who stole her heart that she kept as her own... he was such a sweet tempered dog, and very intelligent, within 3 months he was obeying all commands and doing tricks.. as well .. how people can be so mean to throw animals out to starve is beyond me
