WORLD WILDLIFE DAY 3 March: On December 20, 2013, at its 68th session, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed March 3, as the UN World Wildlife Day to celebrate and raise awareness of the world's wild animals and plants.

If you like wildlife — on YouTube there is a live cam for Madikwe Wildlife Reserve in South Africa that I love to watch. It is a watering hole that the wildlife comes to. Most activity is of course at dawn and dusk. I regularly see zebra, elephant, wildebeest, impala, ostrich, rhea, jackel, crocodile, and all kinds of birds.

What a dull world it would be without our wildlife. I often just sit and watch the bird life going about their day. It’s amazing just how much they interact with one another, good or bad. (Maybe humans could take a leaf out of their book.)
