Today I made a Rhubarb Crumble.....

Oh shitaki mushroom, what a disaster. Especially the fact that with added either apples diced or whole strawberries served warm with either Vanilla Ice Cream or Hot Custard. Yummy!

Haven't had one for ages. Got my recipe from the family I stayed with in the South of London in 82. It's not entirely the same with frozen fruits but manageable when out of fresh fruits from your own garden...
 
When I put things in the oven and take them out, I often wonder how long I'll be able to keep doing this. The pans are hot and the contents can weigh a lot. And my glass pan, which I use most, could break. Yikes!

And then who would clean up the mess? I think it would be easier to just move out....
 
Wren, you will laugh about this one day, just not today. Did the baking dish chip or break?
I was laughing already Lee, (and swearing like hell) ! No the dish didn’t break, I used a tea towel to take it out the oven, always found oven gloves too thick and clumsy, maybe I should re-consider :LOL::ROFLMAO:
But, I bet it tasted good...... :)
I salvaged about half of it and, yes it was lovely with cream
