You can tell it was right after the war. I saw more Americans than Japanese. All signs were in English.

This airport was hit hard in the bombing of Tokyo at the end of the war but the Allies didnt want to destroy it completely so it could be used as a occupation site when the Japs finally surrendered. I remember reading that a UXB caused excitement at the airport as late as last year.
