One of my favorite movie actors, Tom Hanks is 66 today
I first 'discovered' him when he and the late Peter Scolari co-starred in ABC sitcom,'Bosom Buddies' '80-'84
I've seen most of his movies through the yrs,with any good actor in a long career there are a few 'bombs' along the way . These are my picks of his 'why did you appear in this movie?

Tom has won 7 Emmys mostly due to him being co-exec producer/producer of mini series/ TV movies

He has won 2 Oscars for Best Actor ' Philadelphia, Forrest Gump.He joins Spencer Tracy as the only other actor to win back to back Oscars
