Tools to Help After Surgery

This blogger made a list of the tools she/they used to help him after his surgery.

As she said,

“It's been four months since my husband's hip surgery, and I think I've finally recovered from his recovery.

There were ice packs, grabber tools, and more conversations about bathroom logistics than I ever thought I'd have in this lifetime.

Add to this a raised toilet seat we nicknamed the platinum throne, a bell he thankfully never rang, and me, armed with a grabber tool and an alarming amount of unsolicited opinions.

Caregiving may be noble, but let's be honest…it's also full of surprises you don't learn from a brochure.

Today on the blog, I'm sharing a few things that made it all slightly less chaotic.”
