Hi, brand new so will take a bit of time, but hope to interact and get involved in some of the forums. I recently decided to go semi-retired to give me more time to follow my interests and do up the house!

Hi, thanks to everyone for your welcomes and suggestions.
I'll update my profile to include some of my likes as time goes on and will look through each section plus hopefully contribute.
My reason for going semi-retired is to focus on carrying some work out in the house, as I've planned this over the next three months, not that there is loads of work, but because I can do it at my own leisure :)
I love getting outside and into the country to focus on a long standing interest which is now becoming a passion - geology. And of course the usual - music (rock and blues), reading, the occasional beer...
