When did you start to advise and encourage them, to go
and try things that they fancy, I started when they were
fairly young, but my advice was probably on little things
that will help in the future, some of it stuck.

I have just heard the commentator at the Trooping of the
Colour, say that, Prince George, eldest sone of the Prince
and Princess of Wales, has had his first flying lesson at the
age of 11 years, that shook me, a bit.

That sounds about right. I was already traveling alone before that age, and also flying lessons at 12.
