A cable tram car crashed into a building in Lisbon Portugal killing 15 injuring other. Apparently derailed. Witnesses said appeared to have no brakes. Another 18 injured.

The Funicular railway was a very popular tourist attraction in Lisbon. I've been there a number of times, but never taken the Funicular as it was generally very busy. A very sad day in what is a beautiful historic city.

Yes I've been following this since it happened yesterday... this morning rescuers have been hearing cries from children underneath the bus.. and are fighting to get them out !
