Traveling and dating as a senior in South America

I am 72 and travel to South America regularly now. I own my home in the US and am debt free. I usually spend about 6 months traveling in South America a year.
In the US I tried some dating sites with limited success.
I've tried dating here in South America, I am having a lot more fun and having much more success.
Any of you retired guys out there tried dating in foreign countries? I love it so much I have completely sworn off women in the US. Although I love my home and the US women are out of the question now.

Pepper, I swear you live in my head. So many times I'm reading a post/thread and you've already said what I was thinking. Yeah, this was all said before and it's definitely not just deja vu, but it must be from within another dating post. @Pepper

OP, have you considered selling your US home and permanently moving to your beloved South America?
 
No, I love South America and will travel here, and live here most of the time. But, as I am getting older I have to be realistic. If I have medical issues I think the US would be the best place. I am a happy camper living in two worlds.
 
I have read stories like that. Happens in the US also. I have friends in the US that married younger women. One in particular , she took him to the cleaners. I kept trying to tell him but he would not listen.
 
That is not true. I have meet a few, but very few. All of the women I have meet here are older and would not think of moving to the US. A great dating experience. For me anyway.
 
My hobby is birding and I travel all over. I am in Colombia right now in RioNegro. I get on Colombia cupid. And only date older women. I love it.
 
Bottom line is, If you want a different dating experience I highly recommend South America. Just date in your own time zone. Don't go after young women if retired like me and you will be fine. I have a date planned for later so I am out of here.

I've been to SA. Spent several weeks in Brazil and a few months in Venezuela in 2016/17.

I much prefer Thailand.
