Trawling on Facebook

Do you ever go on FB and just search for old friends or schoolmates? I've been doing that a little this weekend, and I'm not even sure why. I've found a few former classmates and some long-ago friends, but I'm not seriously interested in sending them friend requests, nor have I been reading their timelines to see what they're up to now.

>Not really sure why I'm doing it, to tell the truth. Idle curiosity, maybe. It's almost as interesting to learn who's NOT on FB as to learn who is. And about as many of them seem to be single with a cat or dog as are apparently married with grandchildren.

I have also found old friends and co workers. I have sent them messages, but would not make them friends on my page as we no longer have the same interests..

I only have one former classmate as a friend on FB and am not interested in finding any more. I did find former inlaws on FB that I'd lost touch with.

I have looked up many people from my past. I friend requested one of them. Suddenly this guy the first day I'm back to talking to him wants me to move in with him!! LOL. He had his reasons and I guess I left a good impression on him. :) A few have friend requested me but I soon found we didn't have much in common any more and it was boring.

A crush that kept me alive through junior high. He grew into a handsome man as well. But no...estranged kids and others I don't go there anymore...But oh Bob take me home Babee!

My sister's twin sons have my posts hidden on FB as they aren't very interested in what I post. That's fine. They don't post often and when they do it's usually pics of their kids which I enjoy seeing. When my sister comes to visit us she tells them to unhide me so they can see the photos I will post of her visit. She won't use FB so it's up to me to share with them.
