Two brothers with the same name. Don't ask; it's complicated! Older Billy died of Covid last winter. I talked with younger Billy today (he's 65 years old), and he has Covid. He's had both vaccines but it hasn't been six months since the second one so had not yet had the booster.
They live in the upper peninsula of Michigan where the surge is so bad that the schools have all gone back to virtual learning.
He lives with his DD, DGS (23 years old) and DGD (14 years old). His DD and DGD have both had the vaccine. His DGS has not, and he has Covid as well and got sick, apparently passing it along to my brother. Bro got sick two days later than his DGS but is getting better and has been at home since he got sick. His DGS is still very sick but at home.
Covid is not a hoax. Covid is a deadly menace. Please mask up. It's not a matter of your personal choice. It's a matter of consideration of the other guy. Believe me, we are all the other guy.
