Anyone besides me have trigger finger (stenosing tenosynovitis) ?

For about a year now the middle finger on my left hand locks up midway and then snaps / pops into place.

With everything I've got going on now and with warm weather coming I'm 'Not Even' wanting to have it operated on......there is no real pain and if this is as bad as it gets I'm not going to mess with it.

Same here, Ike. The middle finger on my right hand started locking up a couple of weeks ago with very little pain. My wife has had four surgeries for trigger finger and while the surgery is a simple procedure, the recoup period is more than a little bit. I am very busy with the ranch chores and don't have the time for the recoup. If it gets progressively worse, though, I will have to have it fixed. It is just another one of the little indignities that happen to us as we grow older.

I don't have it, but I think it's inflammation related and might be helped with natural supplements that help with pain due to inflammation, like Turmeric (Curcumin), MSM (Methyl-sulfonyl-methane) and maybe Magnesium Malate. Here's some treatment options including natural, acupuncture, etc. http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/trigger_finger.html
