Trio of alligators cross road

Reptiles are cold blooded; they have no way of internally controlling their temperature, so they have to move in & out of shade or water when they get too hot or cold. They also cannot digest food unless it's at least 80 degrees; that's why you'll see them lie flat on a hot pavement (like the alligator did); they're raising their body temperature so their food digests.

When I see that video, I see.......

I have a couple pair of Lucchese American Alligator Boots that look just like the screen shot below of a pair of American Alligator Boots by Lucchese, and a Alligator Billfold from a trapper who hand makes them in Florida - superb quality for the boots and billfold for sure.

Some good cold beer goes well with a fried gator basket

Yikes 😱

Alligators have between 74 and 80 teeth in their mouth at a time. As they wear down, they are replaced. An alligator can go through 3,000 teeth in a lifetime.

How come they're not bothering the people?
Saw something recently that reminded me of this.
Alligators usually will run from humans unless someone bothers their nest. But Crocodiles are more predatory and aggressive; they will chase & attack humans.
