This is so tragic for the families of the young soldiers and doesn't sit well with the army's top brass of course. All training helicopters are grounded until further notice while an investigation takes place. In the first accident, 9 soldiers were killed when their helicopters collided in the dark of night in Kentucky. The latest incident over Fairbanks, Alaska, again where the helicopters collided, took place in the daytime and killed 3 soldiers. One miraculously survived.
