Two die in local Mercy Flight crash

Sadly, a Mercy Flight helicopter crashed in a town near me. The pilot and a passenger (not a patient) died in the crash. On the news they said that many of the first responders were taking it hard...in a sense, one of their own lost.

I have never been a fan of riding in helicopters ever since Vietnam. Was it a single or double engine model? Maybe I missed reading that part. I’m sorry for the loss of lives and of course, the families of the deceased.

Very sad. This happened in my area a number of years ago, maybe 20. The local hospital has the copter and I sometimes hear it from work.
