Two Kindergarteners In Critical Condition After School Shooting

I hate this! It took place in Oroville, Calif. The POS who shot them had a lengthy criminal history and had just been released from jail two weeks prior. Those poor babies, ages 5 and 6, are reported in critical but stable condition. I understand for one it was touch and go for awhile. One was shot in the chest and stomach! The shooter was ostensibly at the school to enroll a child and had met with the principle. A few minutes later, shots rang out. The shooter then killed his fool self. The theory is that he targeted the small school because it's a Seventh Day Adventist school.

That the children are still alive is deemed "a miracle". Look at their sweet faces. Now they face the possibility of multiple surgeries. I can't even imagine what their parents are going through! I hope his a*s burns in a special kind of hell.

My kids and I lived in Oroville for several years, and it was home to my youngest son and his wife for the first several years of their marriage. The cost of living is low in Oroville, and there are plenty of jobs, but most of the homes are old and there's not much to do unless you're into water sports, fishing, and camping.

I followed this story up til yesterday afternoon. I'll have to check for updates.

Last I heard, he had a mental disorder, and they found a list of other 7th-day Adventist schools in his van, but they hadn't yet figured out what his beef was with them. He attended a 7th-day Adventist school when he was a kid, but sheriffs hadn't uncovered any problems.

Almost as distressing is that this is the first I've heard of this, and I was on the computer almost all day yesterday. These shooting incidents apparently have gotten so common they don't even qualify as "major news" any longer. And that's truly sad.

A felon can't have a firearm in his possession period. Cal is a POC. BS Law enforcement in this case.

Pos was a career criminal starting in his youth apparently. Had a federal and state records. Recently got caught stealing a U Haul truck and cash from a CVS. His rap sheet included forgery. The gun was a ghost gun. His motive was probably the US response to the Palestinian situation. And he lied to get his way into the school

ABC covered it on Good Morning America and World News Tonight with David Muir. Those are the only news programs I watch, but I read news from several different sources. I didn't check all my news apps yesterday, but now that you mention it, I didn't see it on Google news.

That poor baby! How horrible. I hope the attacker burns in the hottest hell there is. In fact, I hope he is found, prosecuted quickly and his prison mates make his life a living hell. If they do him the way inmates do child molesters here in the U.S., he will have a hellish existence and some injuries to boot.
