I was just in the shower and I felt something on the bottom of my foot. It felt like a piece of medical tape. I pulled it off but then there was another, then another and I started freaking out a bit. I suddenly remembered I had done a foot mask a week or so ago. It was the first time doing one and I remembered it said in about two weeks your skin would start to exfoliate. Exfoliate!!! The entire top layer of my skin just peeled off. Then I thought, cool, the entire top layer of my skin just peeled off. Unfortunately, it's not done so I'll keep socks on.
I don't remember the name. I got it in Walmart for about $3. It comes in a small bag. Made in Korea. You take it out and it's like plastic socks with thick lotion inside. You leave it on for about 60 minutes then rinse. Nothing feels different, then Surprise!!!

That reminded me of sometime after I had broken my arm at the elbow. I was in the shower and looked down at the crook of the elbow that had been broken. It was dark purple! It looked like a bruise on steroids! I started freaking out as I had been lifting some weights earlier. "Oh my God, what have I done?"
I put it under the water spray and guess what? The purple rinsed off. I had been using purple shampoo and some must have dripped on my arm. Such relief!

HAHA. Reminded me of what happened to my hands & feet a few years ago.
I had Athlete's Foot & it spread to my ankle & caused swelling. I saw a foot Dr. & he prescribed a stronger ointment than was available over the counter, along with an oral antibiotic. I was a little leery about the antibiotic but I started taking them, anyway.
After a few days, I developed an allergic reaction that started with a rash on my arms, then dark brown spots on my palms & soles. (Blood clots?)
I saw a dermatologist who prescribed another drug, but I didn't want to risk something else, so I didn't take anything.

Within a couple of days, my hands developed big blisters on the palms & they itched like crazy.
I waited it out & it was the right decision. After the blisters opened & drained, I had HUGE chunks of skin hanging on both palms; Looked like a mummy that started unwrapping. It freaked me out a little, but I could see new skin under the skin that was falling off.
3 days later, I had new palms. :giggle:
