uh oh, done me a mini shop and when I got back to the car....

This is off topic, but Betrick talked about a plum left in the trolley. Here in the US, the plum would have been left in the 'cart'. But the thing is we, Merkins, knew what was meant. Betrick's grocery stores are like our grocery stores. Outside of the people accents or languages, we are getting to be all the same. If you do teleconferencing, all the homes look the same. You can't tell if the home is in Mississippi, Leeds. Leon, Kiev or Lima. We are becoming weirdly similar.

The background behind the person who is on Skype or Zoom is sometimes a clue about who they are, or where they live. Behind me in my living room are 2 paintings by a well known Canadian painter Lauren Harris. A bookcase with some books about Canada, and a carved soapstone Polar Bear done by a young Innu carver from Resolute Bay. Sometimes I wear a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey while on Skype. Jimb.

I would love to see pix of the paintings and especially the Polar Bear.
