I buy most books/dvds etc from UK Amazon rather than the US because the postage is so much cheaper.
Can't figure why it's a lot cheaper to post it here from Europe than America but suspect a rip-off factor may be involved.

No, not really, I usually just search eBay what I'm looking for in particular and quite often the best price/postage works out to be from Amazon/UK. I don't 'shop' there specifically, sorry.

Strange how the biggest topic on the news is how much people are spending on merchandise during the Christmas season. They're constantly dwelling on the dollars raked in due to holiday spending by the consumer. Makes it very clear to me, the real spirit of the holiday. :dollar: :dollar:

You are right there SB, the spirit of christmas has been long lost, the retailers are only interested in dollars these days, very sad.
